Privacy in the myGWM app

myGWM is an app for clients of Global Wealth Management. This page explains what the app keeps about you and how it is used. It adds to, and does not replace, the firm's Privacy Notice that you receive as a client.

What the app keeps

Your name, email address, and the household you belong to.
Anything you choose to add to your profile, such as a photo, phone number, birthday or interests.
Your daily game results, streaks and badges.
Meetings, webinars and events you attended, so they can appear on My Journey.
Introductions you tell us about, including the name you give us for the person introduced.
When you last signed in.

What the app never shows

The app does not show account numbers, balances, holdings or transactions. Please don't send that kind of information through the app.

Who can see it

You, and the other members of your household.
Global Wealth Management staff who look after your relationship.
Other clients see nothing about you, unless you choose to join the game leaderboards. If you do, they see only your first name and last initial (or a nickname you pick) and your game results. You can leave at any time and your name is removed straight away.

Services we use

The app is hosted by Vercel and its data is stored with Supabase, both in the United States. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. These companies process data only to run the app for us. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

Your choices

Edit your profile at any time from the Profile tab.
Join or leave the leaderboards from the Games tab.
Ask your team to close your app access. Records the firm must keep by law are retained as required.
